APSCHE 2009 Notification, ANDHRA PRADESH STATE COUNCIL OF HIGHER EDUCATION (APSCHE) Post-Graduate Engineering Common Admissions – 2009 (For GATE qualified Candidates only)
Post-Graduate Engineering Common admission into M.E/M.Tech/M.Pharm. /M.Arch / M.Plg. courses in the University and affiliated colleges in Andhra Pradesh for the Academic year 2009-2010.
Applications are invited from the GATE qualified candidates for admission into M.E / M.Tech / M.Pharm. / M.Arch / M.Plg. (full time) in University and affiliated Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture Colleges in A.P.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates satisfying the following requirements will be eligible for admission to PG Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture courses in 2009-2010 Academic year.
I) The candidate should be of Indian Nationality
II) The candidate must possess Valid GATE score in the concerned discipline.
III) The candidate should satisfy Local/Non-Local status requirement as laid down in A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order of 1974 as subsequently amended.
IV) The candidate should have passed B.E/ B.Tech / AMIE / B.Pharmacy / B.Arch. / B. Planning or equivalent examination for seeking admission into Post-Graduate courses and its specialization. However, the candidates who have passed M.Sc/ MCA with a valid GATE score are also eligible wherever applicable as indicated in the eligibility criteria. Specialization under Category – I, II, III ( see the Annexure A, B and C in the information Booklet).
V) Eligibility requirement is as per each programme/course offered and details are given in Information Booklet which is available along with application form or visit websites www.osmania.ac.in, www.pgec2009.net (or) www.apsche.org
Mere qualifying in the GATE does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted in to PG course unless the candidate satisfies all the eligibility conditions of admission stipulated by the authority concerned.
Note : The vacant seats if any after admitting GATE qualified candidates will be filled with the candidates based on the Rank secured in the PGCET -2009.

Commencement of sale of application forms : 11-05-2009
Last date for the sale & receipt of application forms:
a) without late fee through DD. : 30-05-2009
b) with late fee of Rs. 500/- through D.D. : 06-06-2009
c) with a late fee of Rs.2500/- through D.D. : 15-06-2009
SALE OF APPLICATION FORMS
Prescribed application form for the GATE qualified candidates together instructions Booklet can be obtained in person through D.D. drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of Secretary, APSCHE, Hyderabad for RS.500/- (Rs.250/- in case of SC/ST students) at the following centers :
i) IDC, Behind University College of Engineering Library, UCOE (A) Osmania., University, Hyderabad.
ii) Office of the Director, Admissions JNTU, Kukatpally, Hyderabad.
iii) Office of the Principal, AU College of Engineering, Visakhapaatnam.
iv) Office of the Principal, SV University College of Engineering, Tirupathi.
v) Office of the Director, PG Admission, Kakatiya University, Warangal.
vi) Office of the Principal, Siddartha Engineering College, Vijayawada.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS
Duly filled-in-application forms may be submitted along with relevant documents by Speed Post / Courier to the Convener, PGEC Admissions – 2009, University College of Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad – 500 007. India (a) on or before 30-05-2009 upto 5.00 pm. Without late fee (b) on or before 06-06-2009 up to 5.00 pm along with a late fee of RS.500/- in the form of DD (c) on or before 15-06-2009 up to 5.00 pm along with a late fee of Rs.2500/- in the form of DD drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of “ The Secretary, APSCHE” payable at Hyderabad. incomplete application forms and application forms received after the specified date and time will summarily be rejected.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION ONLINE
Applications can also be submitted online. However, a copy of the downloaded application along with passport size photograph and DD. For Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- in case of SC/ST) drawn in favor of “The Secretary, APSCHE” payable at Hyderabad is to be sent to “The Convener, PGEC Admission -2009”.
